These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and replymaxx ("we," "us") for your use of the replymaxx app. By using the app you accept these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Age requirement
You must be at least 17 years old and able to enter into this agreement to use replymaxx.
What replymaxx is
You add a screenshot of a conversation; nadia, our AI, rebuilds the conversation, offers a read of what the other person may mean, and suggests possible replies. It's a tool for making sense of your own conversations — and it's for entertainment and informational use (see "AI-generated content").
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use replymaxx for your own use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or use the app to build a competing product, and you may not attempt to bypass its usage limits.
Subscriptions and auto-renewal
replymaxx offers a free tier with a limited number of reads. A premium subscription ("replymaxx+") unlocks additional use. If you subscribe:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, at the price and billing period shown on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm.
- The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown on the in-app purchase screen.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- If a free trial is offered and you don't cancel before it ends, your paid subscription begins automatically and any unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
- You can restore an active subscription on a new device with "Restore Purchases."
Apple processes all payments and manages billing; we don't process payments directly and can't issue refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
AI-generated content — not professional advice
replymaxx and its AI features are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. nadia's reads, tells, and reply suggestions are generated by an AI model; they may be inaccurate, incomplete, exaggerated, or miss context the AI never had. nadia is not a licensed therapist, counselor, relationship coach, attorney, or medical professional, and nothing in the app is professional relationship, psychological, medical, or legal advice. If a situation involves your safety or mental health, please seek help from a qualified professional or a crisis service in your area.
You decide what to send
You are solely responsible for your own communications. Any suggested reply is just an option — you choose whether to send it, and you're responsible for the consequences of what you actually send.
The screenshots you upload
You keep ownership of the screenshots you submit. You grant us a limited license to process a screenshot solely to generate your result; we don't retain it afterward and we don't use it to train our own models. You represent that you have the right to share each screenshot you upload and that doing so doesn't violate anyone else's rights or any law.
Acceptable use
Don't use replymaxx to harass, stalk, impersonate, threaten, or plan harm against anyone. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, and don't use the app to target someone maliciously. If AI output ever seems harmful or inappropriate, you can stop using it and contact us to report it. It's a tool for understanding your own conversations, not a weapon against someone else's.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP AND ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY AI SUGGESTION IS ACCURATE, APPROPRIATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SITUATION.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL replymaxx OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, RELATIONSHIPS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold replymaxx harmless from any claims arising out of your misuse of the app, the screenshots or content you upload, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, you agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your place of residence, including, for Ontario residents, rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.
Third-party services
replymaxx relies on Apple, Superwall, OpenRouter, and Convex to function. Their own terms also apply to your use of those services, and we're not responsible for their availability or actions.
Apple
These Terms are between you and replymaxx only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app is also subject to the Apple Standard EULA.
Termination
You may stop using replymaxx at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms.
Changes
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date above; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
